The meaning behind the TFCC Logo

When God came to meet us in our history he lived in a context in a specific time and space contained in our little blue beautiful planet called Earth. The coloured background of the logo represents the context of the culture of Christ.

Yellow is the colour of the ears of wheat from which we make bread that is used in the sacrament, which represents the body of Christ. Blue is the dominant colour of the Earth, the ocean and the sky, and theologically it symbolises the divinity of Jesus Christ. Red is for the bloodshed of Christ as a consequence of His confrontation with our broken nature. Green denotes nature and also the power of the Holy Spirit in the Church.

His love for humanity led Him to face the evil of the world but this encounter cost Him His life. His cross was real. He was nailed on a rough cold and unwelcoming piece of nature we constructed in order to make it an instrument of death. The death of the Son of God embraced humanity in its ultimate diversity. The Cross of the logo of TFCC reflects specifically this diversity through lines, shapes and colours. The downward point of the cross represents the ability to go deep, to penetrate the evil of the world, while the upward point of the cross cries for the divine help. The horizontal bar represents the complexity of human relationships.
